FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes. Specialized press is more inclined to attend, however general press is also often present at strategic conferences like “The World Food Business Summit”. We reserve the right to limit free press passes to publications and media with a valid interest in the Conference.

CIES – The Food Business Forum only delivers one free pass per publication. This complimentary invitation is only valid for the journalist. Any other journalist from the same publication wishing to attend will have to register like a normal paying delegate.
As a general rule, spouses can not benefit from their partners’ free pass and have to register for the event if they wish to attend or participate in social events.

Access to the Conferences is usually free for journalists; however CIES – The Food Business Forum do not provide either transportation or accommodation.

As a general rule, the complimentary registration covers the whole event. Some breakout sessions and the store visits offer a limited amount of places and may be restricted. The invitation also allows the journalist to participate in social events.

Yes. An official photographer operates at Conferences. The photographer hired by CIES – The Food Business Forum is the exclusive photographer for the event. A CD of selected pictures of the event will be provided during and / or after the event. Specific picture arrangements can be made during the event, please ask the CIES team on-site.

The core language of conferences is English, although simultaneous interpretation may be available in German, Spanish, French and / or Japanese. Simultaneous interpretation by professional conference interpreters will be provided subject to a minimum number of 10 delegates per language group.
